It does’t matter where you go in the world, you will be hard pressed to find a person that doesn’t enjoy a good martini. Martinis have always been the go-to classic, chic drink. They’re super easy to make and if you only have one drink in your cocktail recipe repertoire – it should be a good, crisp, refreshing vodka martini! It only has two main ingredients, so no excuses, let’s get started!

Classic Vodka Martini
You HAVE to use a good quality martini with this one guys! It’s the star ingredient.
1 to 2 oz. quality vodka (It depends on how strong you like it. I usually go for 2 oz.)
1/4 oz. dry vermouth per ounce of vodka
Add ice to cocktail shaker
Pour in vodka and vermouth
Shake until vodka is chilled (about 10 seconds). The longer you shake it, the more awesome ice crystals will form.
Strain into a martini glass (preferably a chilled martini glass)
Garnish with olive, lemon twist, or lemon wedge
